「物」老東西分享之卷一 My New Old Stuffs part.1

my new old keys & type writer

(糗了，直到剛剛才知道打字機是type writer not typer。)

自從在離我家不遠處的西門跳蚤市場去年開幕以後，
我就從那裡搬了一些東西回家。
（打字機、椅子、扶手藤椅、舊時捲尺、自來水公司水牌、房屋稅籍牌、老鐵盒、黃銅色便
當盒、鑰匙、名片盒、奶粉罐裡的鐵湯匙）

有一些是第一次到高雄的十全跳蚤市場買到的，那是我第一次逛台灣的跳蚤市場。然而真正
逛的第一個跳蚤市場應該是在德國旅遊時，逛了好多好多，但是當時不知道在想什麼，好像
什麼也沒買到（當時最想帶一台雙眼相機回家）。而後真正有消費的，居然是在日本竹下通
不小心逛到的古董市集，印象深刻因為同事搬了一個皮箱，而我則買到了一台Polaroid Sun
635，而且還因為聽錯價格意外地就殺了價（把2000日圓聽成1000）。重點是還可以用！
且附帶一個歷史悠久的原廠袋（但是因為太爛了 我也不會拿來用）。

於是我今天心血來潮在用打字機寫這段時，回想到底在跳蚤市場買過什麼東西，還想不起來
究竟第一個搜集而來的老物是什麼時，才狠狠地回想起應該是不小心跳下去的傳統底片相機
坑吧！（自己都忘了）


使用打字機時真的很好玩，因為從來沒用過。上網買到了打字機的色帶以後（碳粉帶，有紅
黑兩色）立刻興奮地研究怎麼換帶怎麼打，就這樣玩了好幾張A4紙，然後發現打字無法回頭
修正真是容易錯誤連篇啊（哪像現在可以一直倒退delete）。

老實說，使用打字機時很吵，加上你必須用力地敲打下去碳粉才會粘附在紙上，有時候小指
根本沒力啊XD，幸好本人英打很糟糕本來就不會乖乖把手指放在正確的位置，搭噠噠
噠噠叮（快到句尾的時候會有一聲叮！），對於從來就只敲打過鋼琴（小時候不愉快的回
憶）和電腦鍵盤的我來說，使用打字機真的有另一番樂趣。

（而且平常英文都亂拼，打字機的時候就會先想一下確定後再噠嗒嗒的打）


並且就是因為字的濃淡取決於碳粉沾染的程度，跟打字的力道有關，所以文章就會顯得濃淡
不均，是一種現代化工具不會有的“瑕疵”，也是一種很有趣的味道。





分享今天一個人在跳蚤市場收工時跑進去買了的三隻鑰匙。

這種型的鑰匙其實滿常見的，但是我之所以選他是因為他上頭打了個“3”。幻想這個3有特
定的意思，也許是3號門，也許是3號盒子，也許是第3隻鑰匙，也許一個無意義的代碼。總
之是一個任人幻想的數字。

這隻鑰匙的色澤其實沒有我他得那麼黃，更深沈一點才對（像第一張圖）。選他的原因是很
少在現在看到這種頭型的鑰匙，上面有細細的裝飾以及不知道代表什麼的縮寫和圖案，重點
是長得很有趣照片裡是正面，他的背面則是整面切平的（很像被從中間剖了一半的感覺）。
很想知道這種鑰匙到底是拿來開什麼東西的。

這一隻本來沒有很想買，因為它基本上下面是壞掉的（所以你沒看到齒）。但是因為頭的部
份看出來感覺是鑄造的形狀（不知道是不是鑄造總之不是沖壓那種規則的切面），微微的手
感不規則的橢圓，和其它鑰匙們都長得不一樣，就順手帶回來了。

上禮拜接受小日子採訪時，被問到了“所以你們都喜歡老東西嗎？”

當時其實沒有聊得很仔細，不過就我個人而言的確對老事物有一些迷戀。

我在想，也不是說，東西舊就是好。最大的因素還是因為「時間」。

老東西上有時間的痕跡、風韻、味道、故事，那是現在沒有的。

視覺上的新刺激也是其中一個原因，不過說到底所謂的新舊，也就是差別在時間的長短吧。

有的時候是迷戀那風化的表層，

有的時候是背後的故事。

有的時候是因為大家總說舊的東西材質比較好，

有的時候因為覺得很酷，從來沒看過。


喜歡有很多的理由，這些是其中一種。



I've to admit that I've some obsession with old stuffs.

I've collected for a while when I found out there are some places where I can got these adorable old stuffs. They were some keys, glass bottles as perfume containers, metal first aid caes from American gov, a type writer (OLYMPIC Traveller de Luxe) ,etc.

Can't remember  the very first thing I got from those flea markets...oh it should be a traditional film camera! None of my collections were too expensive. (well let along the cameras I think the type writer is the most expensive one it even outnumber than the two chairs I've bought).


If there's a type writer which can type in Chinese I think I would definitely get one (hmm not likely I know) In my age I have never really got the chance to use a type writer. Instead we use computers, with the keyboards to type and the mouse. We don't even have a actual "keyboard" now on iPad. How amazing our technology is growing up.

Anyway I do appreciate the old stuffs. They were usually made of durable materials and well-produced. Whether in shapes, or the usage, or the simplicity or anything. The TIME that they passed through. I think it's the best sum-up that why we love old things.

We no longer keep using one stuff for years. Much likely we use one in months, weeks, or even in hours.

The top pics are the old keys I got today. Three of them all have some reasons for me to pick them. The first one has a "3" engraved on it. I like to imagine the meaning behind it. And the second one has a innormal shape which is like a half key cut in the middle of it. The third one is a little bit damaged but its shape is not like being carved in a flat way but in a 3D way.(sorry for my poor description) All these three old keys don't look alike with each one and they are all in different colors and the surface texture.
